Caring for your kissuu candle
Each kissuu candle is hand-poured with as much care possible with every effort made to maintain quality and consistency. To ensure you receive the most out of your kissuu candle, you'll need to give an extra little care:
- Trim your wick before and after each burn to at least 3-5mm to ensure a proper burn. Use a wick trimmer, nail clipper or pinch the burnt ends with your fingers (after it's cooled down).
- Allow ample time for the wax to completely melt the top layer of wax evenly across the entire surface to prevent tunnelling. This helps the candle last longer.
General Care
- Never leave your burning candle unattended
- Burn your candle on a heat resistant surface
- Never move your candle while lit
- Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight and excessive temperatures
Reuse your vessel
When finished burning your candle, chuck the candle jar in the freezer overnight to remove any left over soy wax. Use detergent and hot water to wash it for whatever you wish!
